Biography

Hi. I'm a person. I like to do stuff.

Music and art are my two biggest passions (though I don't actually write music, yet).
I listen to a lot of music, mostly of the indie variety...bands..Les Savy Fav, Q And Not U, Fugazi, Pitchblende/Treiops Treyfid, The Sacrifice Poles, Godspeed You Black Emperor!/A Silver Mt. Zion, 764-HERO, Change of Heart/Blurtonia, Shellac, Shipping News/June of 44, Frodus, Quicksand/Rival Schools, Handsome, Capitol K, Plaid, Girls Against Boys. I believe in seeking out music for myself rather than being spoon-fed by the media, but this doesn't necessarily make me a better person than anyone else. So poop.

Obviously, I love to draw, and have been doing so ever since I could pick up a pencil. If you actually find my art interesting, then you are very strange. At this point it is boring and I am very very sick of it. But oh well, can't have everything. For sketching I use either HB or 2B pencils. If I'm inking something by hand, I use a combination of pens and steel nibs (my brush crapped out on me long ago and I have yet to buy a new one). More often than not, I use Adobe Illustrator's pen tool to ink my drawings. (These drawings usually turn out to be the kind where you can actually count the different colours. Yay.) I have a tablet, but it's not pressure-sensitive, you see. For colouring by hand, I use watercolours, pencil crayons, and (sometimes) Prisma markers. That's all you need to know.

Don't ask me for free requests, unless you're willing to wait about half a year. I will do the occasional art trade here and there, though I tend to be just as bad with those as with requests. I do not do paid commissions, because I'm nowhere near good enough to justify charging for my art yet. I don't currently have an interest in offering a commission auction on Furbid or such, because I'd only be setting myself up to be disappointed from getting absolutely no bids.
