LittlePrayer- Enchanted Forest Hayao Miyazaki Studio Ghibli inspired score by @XxTheCreativeKitsunexX (XxTheCreativeKitsunexX)
To say this was a HUGE undertaking is putting it mildly.
I have always been inspired by the works of Joe Hisaishi, his music flows with an beauty all its own and majestic sound always leaves the audience wondering just what he will come up with next. This is no more apparent when you watch a Studio Ghibli movie and just listen to the soundtrack for each film. The music is one of the key elements that bring Hayao Miyazaki's visions to life with fully realized worlds and lovable characters that pull at your heart strings.
I have always marveled at the sound and having never done something this insane... decided I was going to try my hand at the same type of sound, all my 30 years of composing music was finally going to be put to the real test and I would have to try and compose a piece from scratch trying to capture that essence of magic that Joe weaves into his music.
FINALLY after a month of work my creation inspired by the works of Joe and Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki is FINALLY ready to be released. I am both terrified and relieved as this was the HARDEST track I have worked on so far as an independent composer. I do not know how to read music or write it so all this comes from my mind only and only take shape when I can feel something working as I preform it. I truly hope I have done Joe Hisaishi,Hayao Miyazaki-san and Studio Ghibli justice.
This track was so large with so much going on that I had to drop the sound sample in order to fit it on Side7's limitation of 10MB Some sound quality might be lost but from what I can hear it sounds ok. Thank you for supporting my work

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: I based the size limit around and just larger than the size of the average MP3 file in my collection. I don't have a problem with increasing that limit to accommodate higher quality files on the site. I'll get on that and let you know when it's up.
@BadKarma: You would be the first site to do that cause no where else do they allow that kind of feature for music, most sites music get overlooked or ignored.
@Thorvald: LMAO that make me crack up hard. But yeah I failed music studies in high school and people told me I couldn't hold a note to save my life. Odd how talent works huh?
@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: "People laughed when Todd said he wanted to make video games.
@mouse: I do a LOT of styles but orchestral and Instrumental are my fave to create.
@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Clearly, but yeah, I'm really enjoying the music that you've been putting forth on here pretty much regardless of the actual tune! Just was getting used to a certain type of music from you and then this one just felt like it was almost a 180, if that makes any sense?
@mouse: Totally understand, most musicians stick using one style and that is what they become known for. A good composer is flexible and knows its best not to be a one trick pony so to diversify what they can do. By doing this they can entertain audiences in various ways.
@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Too true, too true!
What is the file size of the full piece?
