XxTheCreativeKitsunexX As Optimus Prime by @XxTheCreativeKitsunexX (XxTheCreativeKitsunexX)
I have said in my bio I am a voice actor in training and well it is high time Side 7 heard what I can do. * Back in Decemeber of last year I got pretty sick and came down with a terrible cold that effected my voice a lot but while most people would be too sick to do anything, boredom led me to do this and the fact my voice was SUPER low when I recorded this thanks to that cold I was able to pull of the voice of my favoritie Autobot from Transformers. With some Audacity magic and some lines of dialouge I could think up, I was able to become Optimus Prime...sort of still shocked how good it sounds just me goofing around. More voice acting will appear on side 7 as time goes on. Voice by J.Delorey XxTheCreativeKitsunexX Sword Dancer Studio Canada LTD Optimus Prime and Image © Hasbro. *

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Well, keep it up! As they say, "practice makes perfect", and I'm sure there's a reason doctors are always "practicing" medicine!
@mouse: Oh not to worry I intend to, I am odd that way lol
@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: And as my housemate loves to say, "Don't be a stranger, just be strange"!
@mouse: *ABSOLUTELY! *

Felt like you might agree with that one!
@chaseawaythedark: *The magic of Audacity, audacity allows you to record voice and then tweak everything and add special effects. Its got a steep learning curve so it will take time to learn everything it can do. *
You said you recorded this while sick, and I recall several times Rimmy recorded with a cold and everyone saying how it turned him into a grizzled veteran. :p
But yeah, godspeed—I have a friend that's been trying to break into voice acting, and they learned pretty quickly from DIY practice that it's a lot more involved than it sounds.
@Thorvald:* Voice acting has to be fun as well but it also has to be taken seriously because your an actor your making yourself into something else, you want your performance to be believable to the audience. Being able to change the range in which you can changed your vocals is also a must as it gives you more flexibility to give to the producers of any video game, Cartoon or CG animated production. I tend to try to do everything from anime style voices to real performances if I were on stage in front of thousands of people.*
Not a half-bad Optimus Prime, truth be told!
