Tied to the Stake
Tied to the Stake by @Lucky_Ladybug66 (Daisy Hunt)

From chapter 9 of God Help the Outcasts. After being gassed, Sephiroth and Cloud awaken to find themselves tied to a stake. And Kala-Ansa is taking the opportunity to have a little fun with the man for whom she lusts. Sephiroth is revolted. Cloud is indignant.

I think Cloud's pose is my favorite thing about this picture. I had to use my figures to determine how he should be. I had it all wrong before.

The dark purple sky indicates not only night, but an approaching storm. And the torches lit up pretty well. And I am so proud of my floorboards! XD; Yes, I'm a dork. Drawing good floorboards is a big thing for me. And I really, really love how Seph, Cloud, and Kala-Ansa turned out. Why yes, I'm very happy with this pic overall. X3

...my only real complaint here is that the sky-color is so similar to the wing-color that you almost miss the wing and all its minute detail. XD

I think this one might be my favorite out of all of your Kala-Ansa pictures...it's very detailed and emotional and just very involved in general. It tells a story all on its own. The poses are very nice and the expressions are all very appropriate...Cloud's pose is probably my favorite, just because of the way his body's sort of twisted around to glare at Kala-Ansa. he really does look approriately indignant...and just plain miffed. XD My favorite expression, though, is Kala-Ansa's...it's all sorts of taunty-skeevey-bad, and you want to whack her with a board, and it just ups the tension of the whole picture...as if the approaching torches weren't enough. I do like those torches...I've always liked anonymous background silhouettes. Anonymous background silhouettes with fire is even better! On the left-hand side of the picture they look a little too...uniform, maybe, but on the right-hand side they really give you the impression of a mob pushing forward to light the pair up.

Overall, a very nice picture!

XD Yeah, I think that was largely the scanner's fault. The sky is a little more purple on the original art.

This is definitely one of my most favorite pictures from the story, if not my most favorite. I was so happy I got Cloud's pose to go right, especially since it was really messed up before I tried using my figures. I'm glad Kala-Ansa looks appropriately nasty, too!

If I could do it over, I'd change the uniformity of the silhouettes on the one side and make them look more like the baddies on the other side. I really like how those anonymous townspeople came out. X3

I like this picture, there's a detail going on. I also like all the characters expressions look too, I need to do some more human art as well. Great job! ^_^

Thanks! Drawing Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts definitely helped me draw people better. And this is still one of my favorite illustrations from any fandom.
