DreamTracks-He Man Masters Of The Universe-I have The Power by @XxTheCreativeKitsunexX (XxTheCreativeKitsunexX)

Returning to Eternia once again for my next track.

I have the Power was written up as a piece of music for when He Man Changes from Prince Adam to He-Man in the iconic I have the Power montage that played through every single TV series but more harkening back to the 1980s version from Filmation. Once again paying Homage to Shuki Levy's work on the series but same time modernizing and making it my own style of track while still trying to be faithful for the original source material.

Music is ©2024 J.Delorey Productions Sword Dancer Studio Canada LTD
He Man and Image used are property and © of Hasbro Entertainment as well as Filmation
This is a Fan Made track and is not canon to the He-Man Masters Of The Universe TV series
This track is not Licensed Sponsored or Endorsed by Hasbro
This is a wholly original creation by the music composer himself utilizing synth sounds from the 80s era and modern sound settings of today.

I was a little unsure on this one until the harmonized horns kicked in at 00:25. Then I was like "Heck yeah, He-man!" Good job!

@BadKarma: Better then the original material I was going to use because I wanted to do a remix of skeletor's theme but then decided that I wanted to do my own theme instead, at first when I started going into the track I was at a loss as to what do to so I had to go back and listen to Shuki's tracks again to get a general understanding of how I should structure my track.  In the end this track was the final cut and sounded best out of 3 others I had worked on.  The beginning sounded more like Conan so I had to work in other instruments to make the track sound more like something done for a Filmation production.  It took a good 2 weeks to nail down a final sound I wanted to work with and even then I had to leap a few hurdles to make the final production sound proper and more closer to the source material.  Hardest part is to stay faithful to the original style of music from the 1980s He-Man but same time make something entirely new that would be more my own style and take on the music and sound less like a carbon copy.

Those flutes are a fantastic addition. It doesn't get much more 80s-heroic than this!

@Thorvald: The flutes were actually piccolo and I also added in stacatto strings in high note to make the high pitched intense sounding parts stand out all the more.  I wanted the track to sound as fantasy based as possible as Shuki's original works were more of a mishmash of 80s synth and fantasy sci fi.  I wanted this track to stand on its own not only in sound production but also the style I used to make the track really come alive to anyone who loved Shuki's original 1980s tracks while still maintaining my own signature stand alone style to make this track not only pay proper respect to the original work.

This was the end result of that work and to be honest as I said to BK above...it took 3 different cracks at making a track that fit the sound I was looking for and originally the track was meant to be an opening title track with over the top cheesy 80s lyrics and a rock and roll heavy metal sound, sadly that track veered so far off the track when it came to sounding like the source material, it was scrapped and this track took its place.
