@Thorvald: To be expected cause Enya's music has a heavy amount of Roland D50 synth in her music. Roland and Yamaha were heavily used in MANY music artists works and still do to this day. I have a partiuclar fondness for this style of music cause while walking to and from school I had this music playing on my Sony Walkman almost all of the time.
The style is perfect for conveying multiple emotions in us and also can be used to create an etherial atmosphere, perfect for a run down time worn ancient castle.

DreamTracks2024-VisionsOfMana-CastleCrescenoGhostsOfThePast by @XxTheCreativeKitsunexX (XxTheCreativeKitsunexX)
Castle Cresceno, a castle located in Etaern the land of the moon and home to the Alm of The Moon Morely.
This castle has a very tragic background where the people of Etaern have been trapped in a time loop due to a mystical artifact built by its first king, the Hourglass of Time. The hourglass was destroyed and ripped open time and space trapping the citizens of the moonlight parish. Now ghostly echos of those lost in time echo throughout the ancient rooms and halls of the old castle which has since fallen to ruin. Journeying through the castle small hourglasses and golden haze lead the heroes through time into the past where it's discovered how the Moonlight parish and Etaern came to fall.
Just another powerful story mission in the many that you will find in the game.
I wanted to heavily lean into the ghostly side of the castle and its tragic history while same time showing off its forgotten splendor.

@Jinx: When I set out to do this track I always think to myself if I was approached to do the track for this particular part of the game's soundtrack how would I make it in terms of what I see in front of me, how would I approach the sound of the music to match the atmosphere and story being presented both as a music composer but also a person playing this game for the first time. With that in mind I go in with a healthy understanding of what to work with just looking at a picture of the game's settings and end up pushing a theme that goes along with it. I take great pains to make sure I keep in line with what the game series music always sounds like and work my way around that and from it I get my track to take shape, being both familiar but being original that anyone hearing it will instantly know not only it's my track but it fits the game's trademark sound.
It's how my Dream Tracks series was made and how I continue to offer content based on this simple yet dedicated idea.
The instrumentation gives me chills. I feel like there's just a hint of Enya in this. :p
