After Channel 4's inaugural ident, numerous ITV regions strted trying out the new CGI technology themselves. Carlton was, of course, one of them, regenerating their C symbol to a metallic block, used in opening and closing programme promos like this.

Outings of the three stripes were also spotted here, in three different colours underneath each programme.
