This is really awesome--I agree that it would make a great novel cover. Don't be afraid to use things to help you draw things like circles--even pros do that! I really like the shading you've done--excellent ways to make it seem like it's not all one color, even though actual colors would really rock. Neons would do great in an image like this... Great character design. Her outfit is so cool, but her right hand seems slightly awkward. I love the dragon!

Agh, everything in this image was freedrawn - and I am talking about the planet and its rings! Remind me never again to try to draw circles without some sort of aid.. it was torture. ;_; Still, I think it came out pretty good. My favorite part is the little dragon peeking out from behind the woman's leg. The scene is nothing in particular, though my friends think it could be cover art for a novel, lol. Go sci-fi!! I also like the woman's expression.. sort of sneaky.
Wow I wuve this pic. It is so kewl!!! It reminds me of the Dragon riders of Pern rps I use to do mostly because of the dragon but still. Its so kewl!!! The girl is awesome and the planet thingie adds to awesomeness effect!!!
