Jazz Revue 3 by @Phantasmagoria (Adrienne B. D'Agostino)
Oi.. forgive the semi-sloppiness. This was drawn/colored on a bus going home from UIL marching competition - not the best atmosphere to produce a masterpiece in. ; ) But I still like it enough to post it up here. This is pretty much what the color guard uniforms looked like this year. Our show was Pat Metheny music. The pose actually happens in the show - it's at the very beginning of the fourth movement, First Circle, where we do an ensemble dance bit for several measures. Urgh.. stupid fingers. I hate them so!
That's a really awesome pose. I definetly am a fan! I guess I can excuse the messiness since it was done on a bus, but I really recommend inking with pen rather than pencil so you don't get the detailed areas all grey, like her face is. I like her happy expression--it definetly suits that kind of dancer!
