Aundi Culture 1 by @The-Wizard-of-Zaar (The Wizard Of Zaar)
Want to do a couple more for these tor the Aundi and other species in general.
These are some examples of how Aundi women dress on their Homeworld of Yun. The casual and traditional clothing of Aundi; particularly when on their Homeworld of Yun and worlds like it; is essentially designed to be swimwear, even if jewellery and articles of clothing need to be removed- Aundi clothing is made to be colourful, stylish and minimalistic. But also for comfort and ease of movement as the Aundi love swimming and tree climbing, as well as playing a variety of sports. This type of clothing naturally is also designed for heat and humidity in mind.
There are only two different ethnicities among the Aundi;
The minority hailing from the archipelagos of the Northern hemisphere of planet Yun; the light green skinned, black haired Yamulta. The Yamulta were master sailors, navigators and ship builders. They also had very colourful clothing and textiles.
In the two large continents of the Southern Hemisphere are the Mislan; the majority of Yun's population and having yellow skin and red hair. The Mislan were excellent metal workers, farmers, and were fierce and skilled warriors.
Both the Yamulta and the Mislan engaged in tribal warfare; infighting between their respective local nations within their part of their respective Hemispheres.
However when the Yamulta explored the vast Oceans of Yun and made first contact with the Mislan.
Unlike such a meeting of different peoples on most planets. This was a peaceful, momentous and well received discovery for both peoples. The Aundi race rapidly uniting into a single entity and culture.
The differences between Yamulta and Mislan biologically are purely pigmentation, having no significant biological differences and clearly belonging to the same species. As both are from swampy, tropical environments and share far more in common culturally than they ever had in differences.
In Aundi society; this ethnic diversity is seen as a thing of interest and whimsy for the Aundi at most, seen as being largely trivial otherwise.
Most Aundi today are of mixed Yamulta and Mislan heritage; simply expressing the genes of either of the two. Though the Mislan originally outnumbered the Yamulta considerably, resulting in the Mislan appearance being much more prevalent in modern day Aundi.
I love the design of the yellow lady with the red hair.
