Thanks for the comment! It actually wasn't my first choice for skin color but I've got a, well, pretty limited color range with my watercolor set. But yeah, they do look a little on the red side ^_^; And as far as Rishid is concerned, this is a really really old picture, done before I even knew the poor guy existed, and my knowledge of Ishtar siblings was based mostly off of fanfic and doujinshi. But I really should draw him at some point...he's so terribly underappreciated...

I wasn't originally going to upload this one, as it's very very old and I was never wild about it to begin with, but...Shizuka looked so sad on the main page all alone...
This image was inspired by Shadowivy/Shadi, who drew a lovely tribute to them on her deviantART account. It's also the first actual picture I've ever used watercolors on. And as I've said, it's old. Back from before I changed eye-styles, even. Isis came out well enough, but Malik...well...let's just say I'm going to have to draw him again in the future to make up for this one.

The eyes are the best part of this (even if the scanner did eat half the detail of them again), though I'm also fond of Isis' expression. Vaguely sad, almost.... And the detail on her jewelry is nice too; just enough to accent it without getting overly detailed.
You can do such a great job using watercolors. I've only used them a few times, but nothing ever turned out this good. Isis seems to be relieved, as though she is happy her brother is finally back to normal again. Coloring the jewelry like that was a very nice touch as well.
I can't wait to see what your Malik picture is going to look like! ^_^
Myu, Cassie, I tried to reply to your Malik picture earlier, but your commenting's turned off on that image. o_O
Thanks for your comment. Heh, the watercolors I used were Creta Colors...wonderful things, those...they're like watercolor crayons, almost. Very helpful for shading. ^_~
Yay! Ishtars! ^^ I'm always excited to find tributes to my favorite siblings. I love how their eyes were done. There's so much emotion in them! Next time you draw them, though, may I suggest making the skin tones more . . . gentle? Here it kinda looks more like they're sunburnt than naturally tan. ^~ And I'd recommend including Rishid, too, since he's loved by them both (especially by Marik) as a brother. ^^ Again, I just adore the eyes, and you did the jewelry really well too! ^__^ I am in awe of your mastery of watercolors. I can't paint to save my life. XD
