Days of the Phoenix by @Noodle (Melissa T.)
I did this one for my friend Nick - chibi anime likenesses of him and I, and me with my sketchbook of course. The caption at the bottom comes from the band AFI's "Days of the Phoenix" song. I just graduated high school, so to me, the picture basically symbolizes that I'll always remember the memories of it with my friends. "The time was so tangible, I'll never let it go" - the memories are concrete, set in stone, sort of speak, and I'll never forget them or the people who have influenced my life. In a way, this picture's for all of you, and you know who you are.
That's enough of my emo mood, next picture. :P

Thanks so much : ) I love drawing chibis for the reason that you don't have to draw -everything- proportional. Glad you like the guitar, that was the most difficult thing to draw in this picture because its position had to be exact. It's not perfect, the bottom of the guitar should be a bit wider, but I'll work on that next time.
Wow, this picture is absolutely adorable! I love how you were able to keep so much detail, and make it seem almost proportional (except the heads, of course:) ) while still giving it that adorable chibi feel. Beautiful job on the coloring, and I love the guitar!!
