Out of many, one
Out of many, one by @ajfox (A Girtz)

This piece took far longer than I expected and felt as though I was mentally lifting weights.  For a brief time during the Cartoon Network Toonami years, I got into the Gundam scene alongside Tenchi Muyo and others.  I'm not as into it now, but the concept and designs are something I've always admired about the series.

Our resident Gundam fan and model builder, Zack, has been rubbing off on me with his extremely impressive work as of late, so an idea was born & it seemed fitting to make him a Gundam pilot. I don't know if Gundam pilots have crews, but he's getting one anyway.

Could the designation be for the F-1 series of G-unit mobile suits (The prototype being pictured - Story fiction) ....or am I having fun with Zack's screen name?   I'll let you decide.  An attempted mixture of military and sport/race car design and coloring.

Zack, Fly and Zoey are © Dave Lurie.

Gundam © Bandai Namco

If it has a gundam well drawn in it and the entire piece stands out with its presentation and character designs that harken back to ANY 90s anime...yeah I am sold entirely ha ha ha ha.

Fantastic piece the colors and line work once again at work bringing this scene to life this is so good it would make a damn fine poster!

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Thank you, CK! I appreciate it.

This was definitely one of the more involved works I've done.  It seems funny how sometimes we tell ourselves "This will be a fun, quick drawing/song/writing, (or media creation) no big deal"  Several days/weeks later and it's still ongoing.   That was this piece, even in the coloring stages.  But it was definitely a fun journey.

@ajfox: TCK! don't forget the Tuh! lol I can see that you wanted to do more but yeah I know how burnout on a single project can happen and how it feels like just pulling teeth to get back on the wagon and just continuing on.  Its at that point its best to put down the pencil, pour a nice cup of Jasmine Tea and leave creativity for a bit so that you have a chance to recharge your passion for later use.  I jump from project to project mainly cause my mind goes a mile a minute so if I get tired of doing one track I quickly jump over to another track and work on it instead.  If I get to a point where I feel over stressed I turn off my Cubase program, open up MAME or Duckstation and just lose myself for a few hours gaming to calm my nerves, nothing like playing some old school Tekken or beating monsters up in Metamorphic force to get the ol creative juices a change to rest.

@kittizak: Thanks, chief.  It was an opportunity to expand a little, artistically.  Drawing and coloring a mobile suit definitely fit the bill. (Next time I'll go for a full one) I appreciate the opportunity to draw your characters again. It was fun.
