Elemental Spirit: Jade Wind
Elemental Spirit: Jade Wind by @nolani (Lindsay Gordon)

I ended up cleaning the image up a little. She still is on the same line as the fire spirit. I think I may like green a little too much.

Definitely a bit green. She reminds me of Rydia from Final Fantasy IV. I like the details of the jewelry/collar here, they're very unique. I also like the way you didn't outline the hair, it's a nice effect and makes it look softer. The nose and mouth are a little small, though, even for anime, and the nose needs to be a little further to our left. Otherwise it's lovely work. I like the way you ended the picture at the bottom, it's a nice portrait piece.

Pretty! I really like the colors you've used--they're blended together really well, and those shades of green are so vibrant and full of life--it does remind me of a piece of jade. The wind effect is pretty cool, though you should work on where exactly the individual strands are coming out of her head. The way it is at the moment, it doesn't seem like her head is round, or fully coated with hair. The strands themselves are very well drawn, though. I mean, I really like the shading, a LOT! The ears are excellent, as well, and the details of her jewelry are superb. The lips are a little too close to the chin, but that's about it. Keep up the great work--are you going to do a spirit for each stone, maybe? I'd love to see the colors you'd use then!
