tie your shoes and don't say a thing
tie your shoes and don't say a thing by @srom (srom noname)

the title was the assignment for my comics and sequential art class. (yes! a comics class!!)

this is my third time as a student illustrator to draw shoelaces, and oh yes i'm counting!

i like the book of Kells, and whilst doing this assignment i figured i could either do it the easy way or the challenging way.

Ooo, lovely job on those shoelaces. It's weird, but you draw them so their character stays intact. They're SHOELACES, man. And no one can ever change them. EVER.

I like the work in the background, too. Find yourself something nice, though, that can make your solid blacks without doing years of crosshatching! I think you'll be happier then.
