This is a very nice image--it's dramatic yet loving--dramatic because you can't see the angel's face, and because it is an angel, of course--loving because of the sweet pose. It seems they are standing on a dock? Very cool. I can only suggest trying to up the contrast and darkness on this image--as it is, it's hard to see what's going on. Smudging is evil, so I really recommend using fixative--even in sketchbooks, it will work okay--just get a piece of cardboard between the other pages and be sure the fixative is dry before you close the book. That will prevent smudging of images. Also, try to add more wrinkles in thier clothing. The dock seems to be really nicely done, I like the details of the nails and wood. Excellent job!
