Biography

My name is Gary Davis. I am a studio artist working in metal, stone, and anything else that "speaks" to me. I graduated from the University of Houston in 1996 with a BFA in Studio Arts-Jewelry and Metalsmithing. I have always been driven to make objects from whatever materials I could obtain. This has led to many trials by exotic materials for the pure challenge of it :) Jewelry and sculpture are my prefered modes of expression with ceramics running a close third. My specialties include inlay, chasing, and lapidary work. I do accept commisions on an individual basis. If you have any comments or questions relating to me or my work, feel free to drop me line.
