This is a true story, and it happened when I was still in High School. I was around 17-18 at the time.
For context, I was in a board game club, and The Red Dragon Inn was easily one of my favorite games.
There's a part of the game where the players can partake in gambling with in-game money. I played a card where I could bow out of gambling, just so I could watch everyone get their hopes up from the sidelines. Everyone was betting SO MUCH, and one of my friends remarked something along the lines of "Who is going to get all of this money??" Believe me, it piled up a LOT.
Right before someone won it all, I played a card called "Oh, I guess the wench thought that was her tip," which basically ends the round of gambling, and it makes ALL the money vanish, and it goes to NO ONE. Almost everyone in the room started SCREAMING, and I'm pretty sure some people in the game began to target me. But I didn't care, their reactions were PRICELESS.
What makes it even funnier is that, months later, the next time my friends and I played the game, I did it AGAIN. Their reactions were very much the same, and I think someone even acknowledged that it was the second time I did it. This time, however, we were in the school library instead of my gym teacher's classroom (he was the creator of the club), and the librarian told us to quiet down. 💀
10/10, would definitely do it a THIRD time if I could.
