I made Vidlii account too

Buyer beware. I took a look at it and saw two pages full of racial slurs and epithets in the video titles, and 9/11 mocking videos. That's a hard pass for me.

Vidlii is full of weirdos, bitview is an alternative and has far better moderation, with a community of animators too !!

Okay lol now that I've spent a good amount of time browsing the website I have to say the interface and customizability attracted me but I am a bit scared of the community it's seemed to accumulate. I kinda regret making this thread now xD

I used to use VidLii before moving to BitView for that exact reason. Not everyone there is a weirdo, but it's unfortunately been overtaken by them even after the new admin joined, so the community started to drop.

I used it a few years ago but ended up deleting my account after one of my friends was trolled horribly with videos made calling him several slurs related to his disability, seems the "culture" hasn't changed sadly.
