Dead Road Theory

I've been hearing a lot of dead interweb theory or whatever it's called, where there are only a few people around and everyone else is a bot, and I'm wondering, does anyone ever wonder if there's a road equivalent?

Every time I'm on the highway and I start passing the businesses, I can't help but notice there are more cars on the highway at any time than there are people I'll ever talk to in my life.

idk I feel like that holds less water than the bot theory (which already holds very little water xD) just based on the fact that cars kinda have to be driven by a person unless they're one of the specific self-driving models. and there's nowhere near enough replicates of those models to equate to there being more empty cars than peopled cars on the road. plus, you can see other people through their car windows if you come to a stop near a turn or a red light.

for me evryone else is fake and i'm just being  put  into scenes, the  people are created just for the sole purpose of participting  in the situations and i am being watched for how i react to the afore mentioned you are all just a creation for me and that eees what i call THE DEAD REALITY THEORY you all stop existing the moment i stop looking at you  and you regenerate into my reality when the situationship requires you to

I prefer the Dead Self Theory: everyone else is real while I'm just a figment of their imaginations. An NPC who fooled herself into believing she's an actual person.

what about Dead Aliens theory: where Aliens are Soulless undead

this make nice twist of "Galactic Graveyard" Fermi paradox scenario

I dont necessarily think it's this. I think its that the internet is so corporate and utilised by giant companies, that said companies are imo most likely using bots to farm engagement.

Think of it this way: bots that are set up to just autoreply on things create engagement no matter if its a good comment or bad, if its a funeral post or an art piece. People HATE them, so people interact, click, complain, which then only propagates and develops their influence elsewhere. I personally think that these bots are by the big name players in an attempt to not only autogenerate revenue, but to farm traction based on ragebait. Ragebait is the age old tactic of generating responses and content and the like, and this is just a new form of it.

this may explains people like me got thrown under the bus anywhere Online

and this can also explains Doomscrolling from demoralizing propagandas that they pushes

If the internet is going to be overrun with bots, why can't we have sentient bots instead of those nonsense chat AI?

(If you couldn't tell, I just saw The Wild Robot during dayhab, and I loved it)

Maybe sentient bots needs Wetware CPUs(for being form of computronium, where those Superhuman AIs that uses Wetware CPUs needs bunch of real Human Brains wired together to achieve superhuman intelligence), photonics, quantum computing, or some combination of. instead of Silicon chips(which's maybe too primitive to supports Artificial general intelligence) for their CPUs

and those Big Tech did overestimated Silicon chips while underestimating living computronium located above people's shoulders, forgetting that Today's AIs so-called Neural Networks was just over-glorified algorithms

Now you mention it, AI does seem to be in its early states if all it can do is generate pictures using stolen art, and chat with people based on what its human programmers tell it to do. I think the closest we can get to Wetware CPUs are probably CPU chips using lab grown neurons, kind of like the ones where that guy grew living rat neurons and trained them to play Doom.
