Aw, what a lovely drawing (and now I've worked out how to get around the bugs in the commenting system, I can say that at last)! The head is definitely the best part - something about it just makes it seem to stand out, almost 3Dish. Hm ... maybe it's the shadow it casts on his shoulder? Which is also a very nice touch, btw. The expression is beautiful, good work!

Thanks! I think the shadow makes the head 3D, I'm glad I put it in. If i'd had left it out, it would have looked a bit flat... but I'm really happy with this! :-)
