Bring Me To Life
Bring Me To Life by @snowhawk (Snowhawk)

Scaling this down KILLED my detail.

Anyway, the result of 12 hours of work, from first pencil stroke to final save. And yes, that's 12 hours almost continous work. By the time I got to Emerald's mane, my computer was running low on memory so it unfortunetly doesn't look as good as I'd like it to. Might put that layer in a new document all it's own and recolor it... Later. Then I'll save it over in a larger size so I can see my detail.

And through out the whole time I was working, I was listening to the song that inspired it. And then I fell asleep listening to it, and I'm STILL listening to it as I type this.

I haven't drawn and completed a song inspired by music in... A really long time.

Daggum, Sno. I just... I don't understand how you colour like this...

le sigh Beautiful, as always... I've become very fond of how you make the edges so sharp... like on Emerald's left leg... so sharp, so clean... The contrast of Emerald's indigo fur aginst the mulberry dress is also very nice...

The only flaw tha tI can find is their eyes.... none of them really seem to be looking at anything specific... I mean, that's ok for Sno because hey... she's kinda like that, I suppose... but I would thing that Ki would be llooking at Sno, or at Emerald, instead of just kinda... off. And Emerald is facing Ki, so you'd think she'd be looking at him...

Yeah.
