Keeper of the Flame
Keeper of the Flame by @jrose (J* Rose)

Finally, some new art. (the oekaki doesn't count. :P)

First actual finished drawing of my priestess, Ethne (prounounced either "ETH-nuh" or Enya" depending which site you consult). She's a part of a story idea that largely exists in my mind and whatever scraps I happen to get inspired to jot down. There aren't very many. :)

I won't bore you with a long spiel about her creation and backstory and such... heh, I don't even have the backstory worked out. But the drawing... oh, I spent such a long time tweaking the shading and colors to get it how I wanted, and I'm mostly happy. The background was done with vellum and scrapbook paper.

I must also add that the prayer beads with the fire charm were not my idea, but came about by an art trade pic Zionchild did for me. It was something he added, I thought it was cool, and the idea stuck. ^_^
