I really like this, especially the uber funky wings and the eyes. Quick sketches can actually turn out pretty good because they tend to be really loose and fluid compared to finished stuff (mebbe that's just me though). That definitely sucks that school's keeping you too busy to draw. I usually start doodling all over my class notes if I start to feel like I'm really getting rusty, it's better than nothing.
