Model Sheet: Johnny Grey by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)
This is my original character for an original Manga I'm developing. His name is Johnny Grey and he's part of my 'Esme' story idea. I borrowed a lot of his style and personality from Dib on 'Invader Zim' but he's not some cheap Dib knock-off. I'm still working out the bugs, but so far the story goes that Esme is a fairy who has to (for some reason) live as a human, so she moves in with Johnny as his roommate and he, of course, doesn't know she's really a fairy. This is what I have for him so far: Hair: Black Eyes: Bluish-Gray Height: 5' 10" Occupation: Writes a column for a Sci-fi magazine. Hobbies: Writing, Paranormal stuff I've yet to perfect his personality but hope to start writing the outline for the story soon. On a personal note, I'm really loving how Johnny is developing ^_^ I'm not that good at drawing anime' males and he's the first guy that I've been able to draw pretty easilly.

YES! I was waiting for SOMEONE to get that reference! ^_^ Finally someone knows where I got his name from. When I first came up with him I was just doodling this character and I was trying to think of a name for him and coming up with nothing. Then I heard that song and I thought, "Hey, why not name him Johnny Grey, as sort of a homage to my favorite band, plus his personality sort of fits the guy in the song," and I also thought it would be fun to see if any Eiffel 65 fans who know how much I love the group got the reference, so there ya go ^^ I was just waiting for someone to call me on that one ^~ Congratulations on being the first sharp person to get that.
:D The best one is him tearing his hair out! Fabulous! His face reminds me of Eriol, from Card Captor Sakura.
