High school sketchbook drawing #13

Anybody remember the first iPod music players?

This sketch was based on my old iPod, done in a front and back profile style. I actually still have it, I just don’t really use it anymore. It was in a silver color, which I tried to replicate.

Feel free to tell me your stories of your iPod, if you have/had one.

I don't own Apple products but I did have an MP3 player in an iPod style. Waffled between the built-in radio and shuffling audiobooks during commute up until the battery inexplicably died and would never hold a charge past about thirty seconds.

I wonder if I could get it repaired...

@Thorvald: I’m sure you’ll find someone who is willing to fix it, or at least take a look at it.

Definitely recognise this, right in the nostalgic feels! I bought nearly every upgrade of the iPod over it's lifespan and was devastated when they discontinued it. Yeah we can listen to music on a phone now but it takes up storage space or extra data for streaming.

I got my first iPod in 2005, an iPod Mini in Pink. Took it everywhere, especially on bus or train rides. Got my music from the infamous Limewire and discovered so many artists I'd never would have listened to otherwise.

@JediPrincess: Yeah, the storage space issues can be a bit of a pain. I have to deal with that on my iPad a few times.

I think my sisters use to have the Minis, as well as the originals. We even had an iFish at one point.

The original iPod is always good for long trips. I do remember listening to it on the bus ride home during late elementary and early high school.
