Aurora Star Trinity
Aurora Star Trinity by @Agondray

Another art class painting. I honestly enjoyed doing this one.

The lessons for this one was how to add layers, mixing paints without washing the brush, and creating tree effects. The idea was to create a sort of ‘Aurora Borealis’ effect with the sky. The way that was done was to keep adding layers of blue and green where you need them and then adding a teeny bit of white for certain bits of the final layer. The pine trees were made by painting a thin line with black paint, and then applying a VERY tiny amount of the other colors(mainly white for the snow effect) to a fan brush to put on and around the lines via the dabbing technique.

I really love how this one turned out in the end. This might actually be one of my favorite paintings I’ve made so far.
