Letting Down
Letting Down by @KatWarrior (Kat Warrior)

First off, let me assure everyone that this is not a "pairing" drawing in any way. :)

Second, since this is the first Mighty Ducks fanart I've posted here, I'm thinking that some explanation is in order.

I've been a Mighty Ducks fan since I was about ten (wow... almost twelve years ago!), and that's when I created Annie, the little dog there. She was very much a "Mary-Sue" when I created her, but now that I'm older and wiser she's... not. :P

Anyway, yes, that is a cast on Annie's leg. Probably broke it bouncing around and being hyper like I imagine she does. Or maybe on her first mission with the team. I don't think Duke carries her on most occasions. She is full grown after all (Yep, her species is small), and quite capable of walking. Except now she's probably too stubborn/forgetful to use crutches and won't go anywhere near a wheelchair, so Duke has opted to carry her for a bit.

Of course, she's not happy with being confined even if it does mean being carried, and now that she's seen something interesting she's probably been wiggling to the point where he's just going to give up and let her learn things the hard way.

Done in November but I still like it and hey, it has a background.

MD:TAS and Duke (c) Disney Annie and drawing are the intellectual property of ECH (AKA KatWarrior). DO NOT USE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.

This is a really good picture! My favorite character from MD:TAS is Duke as well. :) I love the outfit.
