Mategai and Kevin by @katduga (Kat Dugas)

A sketch that was finished up in Photoshop.

I suppose there should be a little explanation to this...Y'see, Mategai joins up with a Volcanian pirate ship, that is captained by none other than Kevin Pyros. Kev's a nice guy for a pirate, but even he realizes that Mategai is a little...er...distinct. That and his habit of 'taking things that do not belong to him, even for just a little while because they are shiny' means that Mategai can often land himself into a heap of trouble.

So the solution when the ship comes ashore for peaceful provisioning? Disguise Mategai. Of course, the dragon-boy isn't too keen on 'dress up.' He has to wear boots for one (they hurt his paws), and he has to wear lots of layers, so nobody notices the scales. At least not too much. Well, he doesn't seem too pleased at all, but Kevin, being the nice guy he is, is trying to cheer him up. Yep.

Wow, that was a long explanation, but since I took such a long time on the picture (I think around 5 hours...I started on it at like 8 and finished around 1 or so), I might as well have had a long one. Heh. I gonna go sleep now. Yeah.
