Beneath the Same Sky
Beneath the Same Sky by @morna (Jessica Evans)

ok, this started out as just one picture, but then I got the idea for 2 :) and the whole time I had in mind some writing on a card Joel got me a few years back, this is what it reads:

When I think about how much I miss you, I try to think about all the countless planets revolving around the billions of stars in the universe and how close we actually are on this little speck in the vastness of the cosmos...

But it never helps...

I wish you were here...

The idea is, the two lovers are separated, and cannot see one another, so they relay messages to one another by the ever speedy butterfly messenger service :) hehe...well, and I also wanted to convey that no matter how far someone is from you, it always helps a little to keep in mind we all live beneath the same skies :)

Amen to that. The color scheme, poses, and expressions tell the story so well here. I love the contrast in the shading, too, the lights and darks mix so well together to give the picture a nice mood. I love the detailed border, wonderful patterns in it, but it seems a little distracting to me. Lovely work otherwise.
