i love the bit of green at the ends of the ears and nose, it make it look young, like its still growing (lol sorry if its supposed to be moss)

the foggy look of the background is also nice, feels like theres a whole forest beyond it

Cha, I have to say that's one thing I get compliments on... my shading and what not. It can make some of my crappy drawings look decent. Oddly I didn't start coloring my pictures until recently. o_O

As far as the green, it was an accident actually. My sis had been using my watercolors for some Santa thing she was doing and left some green. Without looking I dipped the paintbrush into it and onto the paper and to find out it was green. So, decided to flow with it.

And the background >< was a trial thing. I can see all the mistakes -- lol

Anywho! thanks for the comment! pounces and hugglies It's always nice for someone with such awesome art as you to comment on my crap. Makes me feel special. ^__^

I was actually told on another site that I don't put enough details in my pictures. >_<

And I think you do a wonderful job at all your art, and your coloring is awesome. ^_~ hugglies

I agree. This picture is really well done. The tree monster thing is not exactly in an easy pose to draw and yet ya done a great job. I think what works well with the shading is the shine on the tail, bum and twigs coming out. the shading on the monster is bold and everything around it is soft and the pen has been used in the right places to show things in the 4ground while pencil to show stuff in the background. I would recommend leaving the picture and not playing around with the background coz it currently gives a winter feel of fog. adding detail and stronger colours wld lose that effect.

Very Nice keep it up :cP

Well thankies ^^ hugglies I think it's growing on me. I think I might have used too much shine... but I am starting to like the way it turned out. ^^ Once again, thank you so much for the detailed comment. ^_^
