That really is pretty ^^ From the thumbnail I mistaked it as one of those pictures you find on folders...you know, with like, the white tiger sitting on the world, or something...like...that xD Haha, anyway. Great picture!!

Like Shadowwolf said I almost immidately thought that this was like one of those folders that you get at stores and such. I really like how you made the tiget stand out from the back ground. The shadeing is very well done. White is hard to shade no matter what you're useing to color it with.

The stripes are a little wide in some places... You might want to try useing the corner (if a flat) or the tip of a small pointed brush to get the finest part of the stripes. Varying the size of the stripes a bit more would help make the tiger more visually interesting.

Overall this is a very well done piece! Great Job!

But anyway. I agree, you've got verrah good color-shading in this one. The blue on the tiger's back, and even up on the planets! Gives everything colorful depth.

One nitpick on the tiger's body: it seems unnatural for him to be standing with his forequarters, and flopping down with his hindquarters. But then, it -is- that pose in the picture... I'm more of a dog-expert than a cat-expert, eh? ;)

Its gorgeous, it looks so majestic! I love the shading, it gives the tiger itself a 3D-like feeling. -studies-

Its very pretty!

I thought this image was simply gorgeous when I saw it on the Artist of the Day (congratulations!) The colors and composition are lovely, but I do understand what you mean about the cliche' ness, considering I work in a stationery department and I have seen a bazillion of the folders (Lassen, I think they are called?) with the tigers and space like that. However, I don't think this makes this one any less cool. White tigers reflect dark colors very well, and mystical space-tye skies really give a beautiful glow to their fur--as they have here. I really adore the purple-lavendar shade you've highlighted the horizon with.

I agree that the stripes could use a little diversity, but only right after his neck and along the tail do they really seem too uniform. I don't notice any problems anywhere else. I also think you could've had some more fun with the planets in the sky, doing more highlighting and perhaps giving them different tints, which would look nice. However, I think the final image turned out quite nicely.

And being is that I can't do more than finger-paint with acrylics since they like to be messy with me, I am truly impressed.
