Thank you for pointing it out, I never realized that I was blending in more then one religion. This is probably the side effect of the intensive studies i've done in my word religions class. As for the lotus, I do realize now that it plays a signifficant part in both Hinduism and Buddhism, but if I recal correctly, both lotus and papyrus plants played a great signifficancein Ancient Egypt too, if I'm not mistaken they are the sacred plants of the land, or at least were at the time.

My weird take on the Egyptian creation myth, no idea where this came from. Kicks her scanner this is the most horrible scane, the real immage is so much more clear then this, I hate scanners and scanners hate me!
It seems to blend some more widespread beliefs of creation- Egyptian, alien theory, evolution(from the sea), reincarnation (from the swirls), and perhaps buddhism(the lotus)- throw an apple in there and you got judeo-christian covered... Reminds me a bit of Alex's Grey's work in a way- but I'm a bit tired tonight and easily confused...
