Well, in this image, the acrylic was the mountains. I painted those on a canvas.
As for Arthur and the tree, part of the reason they don't have as much depth is because They are 'toon shaded while the rest of the image is painted either in real life or digitally.
If you like the painting, though, I'll be working on a couple this next semester, so keep aneye out for those. ; )
Well, when I said "since some of your Legends images" in that other comment, I wasn't referring to the stuff you have in your gallery, I meant older stuff, FYI.
You really do seem to have an impressive knack for composing images out of different elements, especially going from acrylic to Photoshop. It does have a very neat effect.
The only thing I really have to point out here is that you didn't follow the black outline of the tree trunk to the very top, it's not lined about the snow. Other than that, really nifty. Cool pose too.
How beautiful! I love that mountainous background! Was that the acryllic part? It turned out so well! It's so soft and has quite a bit of depth to it, as does the snow. I like the subtle blurring of the foreground snow. My only wish is that Arthur and the tree had the same feeling of depth to them as the rest of the picture. But the picture still looks gorgeous! Arthur's pose is nice, and I like how his hair blows in his face. You've really grown art-wise in the time I've known you! Great work!
