Blue Border
Blue Border by @nolani (Lindsay Gordon)

Some minor color distortion, mainly in the skin though. I am still playing with coloring technique. Colored pencil, marker, and watercolor.

The blues in this are gorgeous. I really, really like the shading technique you've done on the skirt--it's really cool, with the lines. The background is also really well done--if you scanned this a bit larger, it would be a lot easier to see, though. It's hard for me to comment on a tiny image like this. Have you tried mixing salt with your watercolors? It gives really neat background effects!

Actually I tried that once but it did not really work out very well for me.

Wowies!!! I love the border~~~ Very smooth outlining~

One thing though, maybe i'm obsessed with long legs and arms, but to me her arms seems to be a tiny bit too short... maybe if u add some bending of the arm and not make it so straight.... But other than that it's perfect~! I love the dress...>.>

Her arms are probably too short. I tend to draw most of my people short...must be because I am short. Hee hee!

Oh and i forgot to mention that i love the bg colour!! the green to blue is amazing! very smooth transition! well done!

Wai~ You use such a nice coloring/blending technique. I like the dress~ The ruffles are very nice, and the design is quite unique. ^ ^

Thanks! I love to design different dresses. The blending took forever, but I am pleased with the effect.
