Newest Version of Saima's Scars
Newest Version of Saima's Scars by @Elleree (Elleree Phoenix)

Well, here's the scene from my fanfic again. I tried to fix a couple of the issues I had with it but I'm still not entirely satisfied. And my scanner did some weird stuff to the colors. I still like her, though not my poor attempts at shading the dress and the hair and the sad, sad, wall. Any comments would be appreciated. =)

This is a great pic!! The way you made her head turns looks great and not like her head is backward! =P One thing. The some scars are overlapping and I belaive it would look alot better if they didn't. If they, this'll be hard to phrase, but, they formed like an inter section, blended together. If you don't get what I mean tell me and i'll try to make it more clear. GREAT PIC OVERALL!!

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad the way she's looking behind her looks allright--and not like the exorcist or something. And great idea/advice about the scars--I think I know what you mean. Like at the point some scars intersect, do not overlap them but more like blend them into one, taking out the black lines. Or, at least that's what I thought you meant. ^-^ Thanks!

This is a great pic! I like the fact that you added a bg, it makes this picture stand out. The coloring is pretty good too. And as usual, I love the way you draw this girl! Now for some tips: For the hair, try looking at real pictures and notice where the light reflects off the hair. You can also look at other art and notice the tecniques used to shade hair realisticlly. Also, to make the scars on her back look more real, you could try drawing them with a marker thats slightly darker than the skin (er....fur) color, instead of drawing them with black. Well, I hope you find these tips helpful:) Great pic overall!
