From a lot later in the same story. His closest confidant and friend is dead. He's been hounded by the assassin who did it for over a week, unable to accomplish anything except run for his life. And now, Duke has had enough. He waits in a dark motel room, intending to confront his would-be killer ... and get in the first shot.

Eraser didn't erase too well; you can see where I had his hair a lot longer.

Thanks! He's totally had enough of this assassin. ;_;

I'm still loving the part in his hair. XD /dork

His expression is great, and I really like the hair hanging in his eyes...it's a small detail, but it gives him a "head bowed in determination" look that suits the image very well.

The gun here is much better than some of your earlier guns! I've found that it really helps to look at pictures of a specific kind of gun/sword/whathaveyou when you're drawing weapons. If you're trying to work in all the detail of a specific gun (say, a .45 or a Glock), even if you miss something, you still end up with a very gun-shaped gun...if that makes any sense. ^_^;

His hand's kind of small, but I'm so glad you have his finger on the trigger...you really know he's ready and waiting for someone that way.

Buwahaha.

I love drawing that hair. X3

That's good! It still probably looks pretty bad, but at least I tried my best to follow a picture of Gin holding a revolver. XD;

Yeah, that hand did not want to come out. LOL.
