It's official I'm pathetic, but let's just say I drew him becuase I respect him as an actor, and not the fact he is absolutely gorgoues in this picture.

I rather like this becuase instead of outlines, the face is split apart by natural shadows, and contrasts. I major step away form all the other stuff I do. (Reference pic used)

Artists Notes: Rough sketch first than scanned into photoshop 6. 9 and a half hours. At one time 24 layers going (nearly killed my computer) but all together through the process 30.

*Oh Frodo Baggins either get a email or get a life. Unless you can offer real constructive criticism don't leave a review. You are far too negative to me and other talented artists here at side 7.

Ah, you've been bothered by that Frodo Baggins too, huh? I just banned him from commenting on my gallery (it's in your "Manage Image Comments" section when you login...find a comment he made, then click: "Ban this user." Yeah. Woo7.)

It's neat to see someone else starting off with digital painting...it's a really great technique to work with, vs. filling in lines (though...both are pretty neat. ;)
