Fanon Discontinuity stamp by @Masonicon (Zakaria Shalih)
salvaged from either Buzzly or Deviantart
Fanon Discontinuity can keep our interests in our favorite shows/series/games fresh not only does it fix our favorite shows decently(if not that well) from pretending problematic part of timelines never happens. and here's the examples of fanon discontinuity that happened to the universes that my mega-crossover uses:
1. Pokemon anime: Rivalry Revival was the last episode that closely follows official canon, where Tracey accompanies Ash and Company to Johto(and later regions) instead of becoming Professor Oak's assistant
2. Heroes TV show: goes Canon AU from Hiro and Ando offered to join Pinehearst
3. Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance-onwards are not canon
4. Crysis: Crysis 2-3 and Comics are never happened
5. TWEWY: events leading to Neo TWEWY never happened
6. Digimon Adventure: events in Our War Game was the last part that follows the official canon
7. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Canterlot Wedding was the last event that follows the official canon
8. Monolith TImeline of First Encounter Assault Recon: F3AR retconned away from Hiro Nakamura stopping Genevieve Aristide from shutting down Telesthetic Amplifier. even when this happens, F3AR still happens no matter how hard it got retconned(for the same reason everything we’re forgotten stays in our brains)
9. Teen Titans 2003: Teen Titans Go(tie-in comics, not to be confused with 2013-now Cartoons) comics that published after Teen Titans’ cancellation mostly never happens
10. Prototype game series: Prototype 2 isn't canon
11. Avatar the Last Airbender/the Legend of Korra: Ending(when both Korra and Asami are lesbians) are retconned likely from the part where Korra got poisoned never happened here
12. C&C Red Alert universe: Renegade 2 was used as Yuri Revenge’s sequel instead of Red Alert iOS(to further explain away Tiberian Universe as temporal paradox that Allied forces made in last-ditch effort to save the world from Psychic Dominator Disaster)
13. and so on
