Thanks for the comments! I wondered briefly if anyone would notice my resurfacing here . . . Simplicity is something I've never been good at, so it's nice to hear that the effort I've been applying towards that is paying off. You're right about the muzzle and the eye; I didn't want for him to look female - and since there's no visible jaw, the muzzle substitutes and males are supposed to have wider jaws. I overcompensated a bit, I think. The eye, as well; I need to practice more with the whole isometric viewpoint. Unfortunately, I did this on a pocket sketchpad, so it won't get any larger; that is, it won't expand to include any background or any more of his body. It was originally intended as a character sketch to use as an avatar, but it turned out a bit too big for that.

Nice picture here. I love the hair and it's neat to see a Burmecian fancharacter. I like the simplicity of this picture and the angle of the head is nicely drawn, though the muzzle looks a little long and big and the angle of the far eye looks off. Otherwise, it's nice work. I look forward to seeing this finished.
