arabian pastel custom horse by @magenta (Laurel)

Yay, I am finally done with this horse! What I've done here is I have taken this already sculpted horse (originally sculpted by Donna Cheny of Animal Artistry) and then colored it using all sorts of mixed media, including primarily chalk pastels, acrylics for the details, inks, and watercolors. After many sealed layers of pastel and other random mixes, she's become a very pretty dapple grey mare. The flash photo unfortunately really washed her out.. I wished I could have taken better ones. But anyway, I'd say I spent about 30+ hours all together on her, and have had her for two years, and she'll finally be going back to her owner who commissioned me for her paint job.
