Man, now THIS is something that I can sure use, sys! Drawing braids is the very DEVIL for me, so THIS will come in REALLY handy! I gotta bookmark this one later, OR print it out when I get the money to (my compie's down at hime, so I'm having to do stuff like this at my local library....DRAT it!).

What might be helpful is if you added indications of which strand of hair goes where (i.e. colored the three strands fully, but differently) instead of the edges.
Unless you're not going for that kind of uberaccuracy, which is of course understandable (as I try and think of a character with a braid, Ed from FMA comes to mind -- and that one's not nearly that...insane.)
