Yes, I love the imagry in PP -- I could write a book my own adolescent fixation! I agree; I hated the Disney version; even when I was little. I believe I have the same version of the book you're talking about; is there an illistration with Tink dozing amongst silk? If so, that's the one I have. ^.^ Thank you for the comment!

I loved that book. So strangely depressing, but really beautiful, too. Tinkerbell was certainly my favorite character, I don't like the way Disney portrayed her at ALL. I definetly like your version better, it makes her seem more like the jealous, emotional character she is. :)
The copy of Peter Pan I read had really beautiful illustrations, unfortunately I cannot for the life of me remember the artist's name! He did some absolutely lovely images of Tink--though he had her portrayed as having auburnish hair. I thought she was blonde, too... Hmm.
Beautiful design. I like the freckles a LOT!
