@BadKarma: Heh that was the idea of the track to instill that sense of Nostalgia into anyone listening.

LittlePrayer-Legends Of The Sword 2-Stage 1 A New Legend by @XxTheCreativeKitsunexX (XxTheCreativeKitsunexX)
To give GalaxyLord a break
I went back to Legend Of The Sword and thought if I was to do a sequel what would the music sound like, I played a lot of Taito arcade games back in the day especially a game series called Rastan where the game music changed with each sequel ending with some pretty wicked music for Rastan 3. If it were a sequel the music HAS to be better but still maintain that ear pleasing sound.
So from the composer of GalaxyLord comes Sword Master Legend 2!

So apparently Legend of the Sword is an actual game but it's so obscure I can't find any coverage on the YouTubes. Judging from your description here, I take it to mean this is "what if I made a sequel to my own idea", i.e. I don't have to play it to see how this music compares. :P
In which case, as the theme to a Hypothetical Sequel to a Hypothetical Game, this definitely evokes the sense of an upgrade: it harkens back to cues in the 'original' music while having enough self-identity not to feel like a rehash. It reminds me a bit of how "No Mercy" from the original C&C gets a call-back in the Red Alert series via "HM2".
@Thorvald: Whoops! I mis wrote the title as it is Legends Of The Sword, happens when your in a rush and uploading something. Still yes this is non existent game that was merely an idea I had years ago after playing a game called dungeon master. Legends of the Sword would be a third person view game side scrolling hack and slash for the main levels but when journeying into a cave or dungeon the game would go to behind the character almost first person view. The player would traverse the dungeon or cave and would encounter enemies and battle them ala punch out or crossed swords * neo geo game * style. Boss battles would be one on one starting first person view then when the boss is brought to half health would switch to third person. It was an idea that could not work at the time as technology would not have been able to make such a game possible. I had planned to create something from Legends Of The Sword but when I switched to drawing only Anthro characters the new name for the series was switch to Legends of Stanza.
@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: "Legends of Stanza"? You gotta make a game where music is the weapon. ;)
Def Jam Icon _Did it but I have no idea how I could build a game around something that complex, rhythm games have been around for a while and some are actually pretty good but as far as making a side scrolling hack and slash arcade style to rhythm mechanics is a bit past my pay grade. _
This is pretty epic. Makes me want to go back and play some retro games.
