@fragmented_imagination: Yeah Bonk's Adventure was the one time I wanted a system no one else had save for that one friend who introduced me to the turbo. I own super bonk original cartridge still yes its pretty good though not as memorable as Bonk's Adventure and Bonk's Revenge.

Stage 1 Theme-Orchestral Paradise Mix
I am a HUGE game nerd as anyone who knows me can tell you and this is no more apparent then my love of creating music for well known game franchises like CastleVania, Final Fantasy, Metroid, Legend of Zelda and so many others. This game however is not really known very well by some people and even less with modern gamers who know only what they have found on youtube.
BC Kid or Bonk's Adventure was a game that came out as a release title for the Turbo Grafx 16 game system also know in Japan as the PC Engine and was very popular in Japan but saw little success both in Canada and the United States. The game is like any other plat former full of charm and a lot of color graphics and characters but it stood out for one reason, the main character was known for using his head....LITERALLY for overcoming obstacles that would block his path from saving the Princess and Dino world from the evil King Drool. Back when I was a kid this game was not on my radar till a friend got it and I finally had a chance to sit and play it and was blown away. The first stage alone set up what would be the most interesting and fun game experience I ever had that would prompt me to find a system of my own and this game JUST so could play it at home.
The track is a remix of the original theme you can hear here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71vVHZ5QBKk&list=PLrCJhUnNDeP19_WhyZlgxJW7uwhn0JXiH&index=2
The theme is very simple and loops constantly but it never took you away from the game's overall charm and lovable head smashing protagonist.
This is my homage to such a awesome game and its sequels. Here is hoping the little caveman will be un-thawed again at some point for more further adventures.
I will also note this is my FAVORITE composition for my game music series Dream Tracks still to this very day, I have it on my MP3 player and play it while biking to work, maybe one day I will return to do more music for this game...maybe.
Music Mix is remixed enough to be considered my own rendition and not a carbon copy of the original theme.©XxTheCreativeKitsunexX Sword Dancer Studio Canada LTD Original theme was composed by Tsukasa Masako Bonk's Adventure Theme, name and Image © Hudson Soft and Konami

This hit me in the feels like Civ4's remake of the original intro.
Which is weird, since this is the first I've ever heard of the game. :B

Considering I had to look up who the man was...no I am not. I am just a run of the mill composer who loves to share his works and has a passion for what he does. Seems this fellow does too so I can see where you would get the similarities :) I am glad you liked the track it has fond memories attached to it so I made certain to capture that moment in time as best I could. **
Aaah, nostalgia. Never really beat Bonk's Adventure since I was still a kid when we had the Turbo Grafx. Have you ever tried Super Bonk?
