I have a general dislike of live chat (literally used IRC once, via a public front-end) but It was basically obligatory back in the IOT years (and arguably ended up killing the community when RL political confessionalism eclipsed the ostensible purpose of "running games"). I persisted as part of a few friends' art/modding groups until the crackdown on shared phones effectively locked me out. I've learned the hard way how it's monopolized contacts as former close friends have largely abandoned previous platforms, but I've recouped incalculable time wasted reading logs for conversations I didn't even care for. XD

Thanks for the recommendation, I checked out a few clips on Youtube and it seems like something I'd enjoy! For the second part : Konami took over, they are sitting on one of my favourite former Hudson Soft properties Bloody Roar so it's a constant thing in the back of my mind...
