I know... I tend to be somewhat lazy about light sources. I usually shade intuitively, to convey mass, rather than attempting to realistically apply shadow. I suppose it doesn't work too well in a piece with such obvious lighting... but most people don't notice ;)

Very cool...I love the intense dark values. You've certainly created the illusion of night :).
And, as was said before...you did a wicked job on the design of the vampire. I love the concept :D
The angles are nice as well...I love how you can only see part of the shooter.
Whoa. That's a nice one, alright.
And 8 hours you say? Well, it definitely was worth it, that's an amazing background! Far more detailed than I'd ever have the patience for... The vampire looks somehow unique to me, that's not the way you see vampires drawn these days. And that's a great thing. The world needs more uniqueness (to state something clichéd, but well).
The gun looks great as well.
