Sad scene from Dirk's past! JC leaves Dirk (but it's in order to protect Dirk from some mean ppl who are after JC. I still need to come up with the details on that though.) and they are saying goodbye. The cursive words in the bg are Dirk's thoughts (not at the time, but when he is looking back on that day).

Dirk ended up looking like a kitten (although he's in his early 20's!), but I love his expression. My poor baby. How I torture you.

And that's supposed to be a bed he's sitting on. They lived quite simple; it's actually two thin mattresses piled up.
