I'm a BIG sucker for improvement memes. I can't help it. You see stuff like this and you can't help but feel proud of yourself, yknow? Here's a few from last year and this year. These aren't 1-to-1 redraws, obviously but still -- Same poses, same characters. Out of all of them, the one that I think makes me genuinely the happiest to see is Norie's. She's grown up so much!

This makes me think of recent film/TV adaptations of landmark literature and how where once you'd've had an all-white cast because That's All She Wrote™, now that it's [CURRENT_YEAR] you actually get a more representative spectrum of society. The starkest contrast I like to draw is between a certain British fantasy author enforcing a rigid orthodoxy over the universe, and Phillip Pullman's conversation on His Dark Materials: "But what do I know? I only wrote her."
I like the top one’s improvement the most, good on you for refining your skills!
