Factory of Madness: Burning Bodies by @rollee (Rollee Bitterblossom)
Lillian Grant had spent her short life cooking and cleaning to her emotionally abusive father’s impossible standards. She was always told everything she did was never good enough. By the time her father died, Lilly was a self conscious wreck of a clean freak. When she arrived at the grime ridden cesspool that was Piedmont Factory, Lilly began drowning in her own compulsions. She cleaned for two days straight, barely eating or sleeping. It was so bad that Sarah and Lauren resorted to tying her to her bed at night to restrain her.
However, Isaac, raised in Piedmont all his life, was enchanted by how well Lilly cleaned. The cheerful boy showered the little girl with praise as a miracle worker. Starved for the approval, Lilly in turn became enthralled by Isaac. Though perhaps not the healthiest foundation for a relationship, mentality Lilly improved. Her obsession has weaned all thanks to Isaac’s kind temperament.
The ghost of Lilly continues to manically clean piedmont She spends most of her waking moments making the factory ruins presentable. However, she, at some level, understands that no amount of effort could actually clean the almost 100-year-old ruin. So Instead her efforts are more specific.
She wakes after another haunt, after another ghost has “welcomed” an intruder. It may not always be timely, sometimes she can be months late, but she eventually gets to it. She washes the dried blood off the floors and walls, sweeps away the debris, and tidies up the mess. But, most importantly, she disposes of the bodies. The basement furnaces lights up as she drags the corpse bags and buckets of limbs with a strength unnatural for her tiny silhouette. The unearthly fire devours any evidence of the foul deeds, making sure Piedmont’s hand remains cleaned of any crime. Afterall, her beloved Isaac disdains the violence so there mustn’t be any signs of it.
"It has to be perfect... for Isaac." - Lilly Grant
